Every Time Trump is Down in the Polls, Just Remember This…

Earlier in August, mainstream media outlets reported that President Donald Trump took a hit in the polls in the wake of what is, at this point, a typical news cycle involving his Twitter feed.

This, of course, also followed a slew of bad headlines for CNN and other mainstream outlets. Not that these two things were related, but it’s always curious when CNN and its acolytes decide to hit the president harder than usual. It’s usually a sign that they’re doing damage control.

President Trump is an anomaly in American politics. His poll numbers were never that good — even before he won the election in 2016. In fact, it was his victory over presumed winner Hillary Clinton that caused many Americans to finally take pause and consider if polls were ven worth trusting anymore.

The veil has been lifted: polling is rigged both by design and by practice. As it turns out, Trump supporters don’t even want strangers to know that they like the president, so you’re not going to get a balanced perspective no matter what you do. And you have the media itself to thank for this. By being so stubborn and disagreeable, they’ve pushed conservatives underground, and nobody wants to talk to them anymore.
