Even the Left is Getting Sick of the DNC

It’s been a rough week for the Democratic Party.

In addition to having several of their cultural surrogates implicated in sexual harassment scandals, a bombshell confession from the former head of the Democratic National Committee essentially proved that party leadership planned to coronate Hillary Clinton from the very beginning.

If you haven’t had the time to read the full report, ex DNC chief Donna Brazile admitted that she allowed the Clinton campaign to run the organization to fix its finances (shocker: Democrats aren’t terribly money savvy). Brazile went on to admit what many critics of Hillary Clinton already suspected: that they did everything they could to remove Clinton’s opposition, and even gave her a heads up on several debate questions.

Say what you will about socialist Bernie Sanders (and we’ve said plenty, and will likely continue to do so) — his support base was far more organic thank Clinton’s. While experts concede that Clinton had the votes to secure the DNC’s nomination regardless of any backdoor dealings, it’s clear that the fix was in from the start.

This meme goes further than chastising Clinton, however. Liberals are upset with Brazile for not revealing this information earlier. If she had only done so during the primary season in 2016, they argue, Sanders might’ve won the nomination, and perhaps the presidency.

In either case, it’s clear that the progressive wing has routed the neo-liberal establishment from the DNC’s ranks…at least for now.
