President Donald Trump clearly isn’t afraid to be impeached. Aside from the obvious fact that there’s no way an impeachment would go through in a Senate dominated by members of his own party, the President remembers what’s really important: the American people are mostly on his side.
Now, you wouldn’t think it based on mainstream media coverage. According to CNN, the opinions of a few coffee drinkers in New York and Los Angeles are perfectly in line with the farmers in Ohio. They’re all the same, you see, because Cheeto Hitler.
This is an election map we really don’t appreciate enough. Sure, the blue areas on the map don’t count for nothing — in fact, they include some of the most populous parts of the country. But it also shows us why we have an Electoral College in the first place. Yes, trees don’t vote, as AOC is always happy to remind us — but states and individuals have rights in this country. These rights don’t disappear because someone on the other side of the country want them to.
We have the feeling that President Trump is going to be just fine…
