Did You Know That White People Are Responsible for Air Pollution?

You learn something new every day, right?

A woke new hot take is making the rounds on social media, and it’s downright hilarious until you remember that the author is 100 percent serious. According to the Guardian, a left-wing publication in the United Kingdom, air pollution is disproportionately affecting minority communities, and it’s all because of white people.

So, again, we have another blatantly racist hot take from a left-wing website. It’s nothing new, and at this point we actually enjoy it when headlines like this come out. Truly — we can’t wait to see what they come up with next. It is an endless supply of entertainment now.

Let’s pretend to take this seriously for a second. There might be a kernel of truth here — minorities in the United States tend to live in lower income areas, which are cheaper to live in. One of the things that brings property values down are industrial plants of various sorts, which pollute the air more. Okay, sure — we follow that.

What this headline — and graphic — seem to suggest is that angry white men are standing outside intentionally breathing their dirty air on blacks and hispanics, like fire-breathing dragons or something…

Do you think these people know how funny this sounds?
