When was the last time you sat back and actually thought about all of the things you’ve paid taxes on — or will have to pay taxes on in the future?
The United States of America has one of the most complicated tax codes in the entire world. And for all the talk about the country being a capitalist paradise, consider this: communist China has a lower corporate tax than America does — which is zero.
It gets worse than this. If you own property, you’re taxed on it after your death. Before the body is even cold, the government wants to sink its hands into your bank account. You see, after you’re dead, the government still feels as if it’s entitled to your finances. Surely, you wouldn’t want to delegate that wealth to your family or other people you care about, right? That would be ridiculous…
Even after all of this, Democrats want to raise taxes even higher. Senator Bernie Sanders is honest enough to admit that even the middle class should pay more taxes. Who needs to keep their own money when they’re funding healthcare for illegal immigrants, right?
