Democrats are Falsely Claiming the “Blue Wave” Actually Happened

The 2018 midterm elections ended with the Democratic Party picking up over 30 seats in the House of Representatives and the Republican Party flipping 4 seats in the Senate.

In other words, it was a pretty normal election year. It’s historically established that the party that holds the White House typically loses seats in during midterm elections. That said, Republicans performed admirably well even with the mainstream media working against them every step of the way.

Even some liberal pundits are admitting that the “blue wave” they were expecting never came to fruition. Others are doing the precise opposite. Remember, the Republican Party picked up over 60 seats in the House in 2010 in what was without a doubt a referendum on then-President Barack Obama. That was a wave — a red wave. What we saw this week didn’t even come close.

Nevertheless, partisan hacks are doubling down anyway, suggesting that Congress now has a mandate to govern from the extreme left — including abolishing ICE and impeaching President Donald Trump.

If you’re a conservative, the best thing to do is hope they try all of these things. You know perfectly well what will happen in 2020 if they do.
