Cory Booker is Clearly Running for President

With judicial nominations relegated to little more than a chance for the opposition to virtue signal and prepare for the next presidential election, one lawmaker stood above the rest as having his eyes on the prize for 2020.

New Jersey Senator Cory Booker was one of the many Democrats who made a point to kick and scream louder than anyone else during the nomination hearings for Judge Brett Kavanaugh. After proudly releasing confidential information about the judge’s record, Booker dared Senate officials to expel him from the upper chamber in a move that can only be seen as a political ploy to play to his base.

Hilariously, Booker went on to compare himself to Spartacus — the Roman gladiator who staged a rebellion that was later crushed by the ancient republic. It’s not exactly clear how Booker can draw any similarities, considering the rebel slave was brutally crucified after being hunted down by Roman legions. But, who needs facts when you have baseless hyperbole?

This is the same senator who claimed to cry “tears of rage” after hearing about President Donald Trump’s debatable “sh&thole country” comment — something that remains unverified to this day.

Booker may not know a lot about history, but he has virtue signaling down to a science.
