Coronavirus Soon to Provide an Excuse for Everything

To be honest, we’re almost as tired of coronavirus memes as we are of the coronavirus outbreak itself. And we have a sneaking suspicion that all sorts of rules and regulations are about to be temporarily suspended in response to the outbreak. But probably not this one…

While it is true that hand sanitizer with a high alcohol content is better for killing germs (and coronavirus), moonshiners most likely won’t get a pass for claiming it as an excuse, as in this silly meme. Don’t quote us on that!

Funny side note: New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is under fire after the media learned he was using prison labor to make hand sanitizer. Obviously, this is the first time that normal Americans actually agreed with something Cuomo did. It’s definitely one of the more enterprising responses to the outbreak that we’ve seen any political leader take. We say put ‘em back to work, Cuomo!

But back to this meme. If you do end up being quarantined in the next few weeks, remember to do thorough research before trying to make your own, um… “hand sanitizer,” okay everyone?
