Coronavirus: Admit It, You Were Thinking This Too!

Glad to see we’re not the only people thinking this whenever the TV people talk about the
coronavirus that’s rapidly spreading through China and around the globe. The coronavirus
outbreak has been narrowed down to the Wuhan province in China.

And every time one of the talking media heads comes on and says “Wuhan,” all we can think of
is a hundred different old Dave Chappelle skits where he yelled, “Wu Tang!” We’re terrible,
terrible people. But then, that’s why we like memes so much, right?

While the media is super busy hyping the coronavirus and trying to scare everyone thinking that their life is about to turn into the movie “Outbreak,” let’s take a moment to chill. For perspective, let’s look at the regular flu – and not some super flu or some genetically engineered bioweapon – just the ordinary flu that goes around every year.

80,000 Americans died from regular flu in the winter of 2017-2018. The media never did a single story about that, but it sounds way scarier than the coronavirus now, doesn’t it?

That’s why you should only get your news from Facts Not Memes. Meanwhile, enjoy this meme of the Wu-Han Clan! Wu-Haaaaaan!
