Cause and Effect In Two Headlines…

While the political culture war wages in the United States, the few remaining sane individuals across the pond battle radicalism at all sides. However, all hope is not yet gone for the United Kingdom.

Here, we see a pair of headlines that ironically explain one another. Apparently, the UK’s academia is just as radical and identity politics obsessed as their American counterparts, and this demented way of thinking is on full display in the headline on the right side of the image. This perfectly explains the question posed on the left side.

Young Brits aren’t becoming more right-wing than their peers by accident. The country that gave us the Sex Pistols has a reputation for youthful rebellion against the establishment for a reason. The only difference is that the establishment has changed. Society is now governed by an elite that places identity politics above everything, and the “punk rock” thing to do is to rebel against it.

Dear Brits: from your loving neighbors across the pond, we fully support your struggle against this absurd orthodoxy. We’re still not sorry for that nasty letter we sent to your king all those years ago, but consider us brothers-in-arms against this lunacy.
