Calling Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas” Isn’t as Offensive as She is

If there’s one thing Donald Trump can really say he’s “the best” at, it’s definitely giving everyone else nicknames. His choice for Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is almost too perfect, and it’s obviously starting to get under her skin.

With Warren’s recent complaints about the nickname, we have to remember how she earned it in the first place. While it’s true President Trump has a tendency to simply run his mouth for things that seem fairly trivial, it’s hard to see how Warren doesn’t deserve the treatment.

As this meme references, Warren once claimed minority status to land her job as a Harvard University professor by suggesting she had Native American heritage. This is a bit odd for several reasons, not discounting the fact that almost every American alive today can trace their roots back to the country’s indigenous population in some way.

According to a genealogy test Warren took some years ago, she has no Native American heritage to speak of — none whatsoever. From this, we can only infer that Warren took advantage of the social justice fervor she claims to represent, and used it to advance her own interests.

If you’re a conservative, pray to God she runs for president.
