Anyone Else Sick of This Thing YouTube Does?

Okay, so this isn’t as politically dangerous as the largest video-sharing platform in the world removing videos simply because the World Health Organization asks it too — but it’s still something we’ve all had to deal with.

Whoever created this meme has obviously attempted, at some point in the past, to get in touch with Customer Service at YouTube. How do we know? Because for all the good it does to try to contact Customer Service at YouTube, you might as well tried to send them a handwritten letter crafted with a quill pen and ink to address your concerns with them.

Seriously, YouTube? No, your FAQ does not function as “customer service” and no, it did not address our question(s). That’s not “customer service,” guys.

Even Amazon has a helpful chatbot that will answer our questions. What’s your damage, Google/YouTube? Can’t even keep up with Amazon?

Not that Amazon’s chatbot is fantastic or anything, but it’s better than the super-sized can of nothing that YouTube is providing. We still haven’t been able to convince Amazon’s chatbot to go out on a date with us, for example. But we think she’s warming up to us. And yes… we’ve been quarantined for far too long at this point.

Meanwhile, just make a note of this for future reference, YouTube. We will always “skip ad.”
Always.

That mythical “reopening” can’t happen soon enough…
