Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is endlessly memeable because there’s almost no dumb statement possible that we couldn’t imagine coming out of her mouth at this point. And we just never get tired of the renditions of her that meme artists come up with.
After all, this is a grown woman whose only job before arriving in Congress was to work as a bartender. And since she arrived in Congress, she’s been – simultaneously – terrifying because of her woke socialist worldviews, and hilarious because of all the dumb stuff she says.
It’s hard to keep track of her. Her ‘Green New Deal’ was filled with howlers, especially when she talked about banning airplanes. All we’d have to do replace air travel and transport was build lots of ultra-fast bullet trains. Which would be powered by… uh… details, shut up!
And we’ll just ban cow flatulence as well, by shutting down every family ranch and huge agribusiness sectors of the economy. People in those industries could all learn to code, right? Not that they’d need to, because AOC’s plan involves a universal basic income that comes from… uh… details, shut up!
