A Children’s Guide to Online Political Discussion

Is there anything more tiresome than trying to argue with a liberal online these days? If you disagree with them on anything, they immediately fall back on calling you a racist or “Hitler.”

For the past four years, we’ve been subjected to constant comparisons between the most prosperous, non-war-starting presidency that we’ve had in decades to “eerie shades of 1933.” Really? 1933?

Hitler ascended to total power in Germany by having at least 85 of his political opponents stabbed to death over a three-day period. “Which was JUST LIKE when Trump ended Obama’s internet neutrality! Such eerie similarities!”

Trump had a glass of water with dinner last night. “Oh, really? Do you know who else liked water? HITLER!”

Honestly, if Hitler was alive today and spent a few minutes on Twitter, he’d probably have an identity crisis, thinking, “If everyone else is me… then who am I?!”

Anyway, here’s a clever re-working of a children’s book to illustrate the utter futility of trying to argue with a liberal online. Eventually they’re just going to call you Hitler, so it’s probably a good idea to just avoid the activity altogether.
